Went up to Extreme tech and had Jeff toss my quad on the dyno. I had it really close as far as jetting goes. Found out I was a little rich....droped down from a 190 to a 185, then to a 180.....got +2.5 more HP out of it just leaning it out a little on the third pull. Nothing like having PERFECT jetting!

It's a great improvement....even with completely stock internals. I have half my parts for the rebuild, and my cylinder is at GT Thunder right now as we speak!

do you have the graphs or some numbers?

I didn't get the print outs. I could have him email then to me...but I'm not really worried about the graphs at this stage. The motor is still stock. All I know is that with the EHS lid, uni filter, HMF full system, anf the 450R carb....first pull with the 190 was like 31.12 rwhp.... third pull with the 180 main was 33.82 or so rwhp.

I wasn't after the HP charts...I was after getting the correct air/fuel mixture all the way across the board....and thats what I got. A strong pull clear to the end!

HP was obviously increased with the 450r carb but what about torque?

like I said bro....we weren't even on the HP/Torque page.....we were using the air/fuel page. I dyno'd it to get it jetted correctly

Your lucky you can get your quad dyno'd, I've emailed every place that has a dyno around my area and none respond. I reached buying a dyno and it aint that much so maybe in time i'll buy one up.

Rode it first time yesterday with the 190 in it. seemed to run great. I rode with a pro class GNCC racer on a very very intence 26 minute gncc loop, covering 600 acres, Dude even has a boulders section, creek section, and 2.5'-3' diameter trees you have to go over just placed in the middle of the trail. Also has a decent motocross track incorperated at the end when you get back to the truck. It's one hella intense practice loop

I can't wait to ride it now with MAX output jetting!!!!!

how did it feel compared to the stock carb?

I can tell a huge differance in the bottom/mid rpm range.....pulls so much harder....I'm sure top end had considerable gains as well. also cured the "ever so hard to tune out of your 400ex carb with aftermarket full system" backfire and poping on decel......this carb acts like it was made for this quad

I'm not how sure you are to Madison but you could contact Max RPMs.
