LIGHTWEIGHT SNOWMOBILE IS BUILT FOR SPEED

Revolt-that's what Redline did after its experimental featherweight sled was deemed too light to compete in official Snowcross racing. The company's first production model, the 800 Revolt, weighs 465 pounds-just enough to race legally. Beneath the $11,700 steed's curvaceous exterior lies a chromoly chassis and a suspension that allows more than twice the vertical travel of other systems. The 800 cc two-stroke engine sends screaming horses down to a 121-inch-long rubber track for serious speed.

Redlines been teasing everybody with their high performance sleds for a couple of years now. They are supposedly close to bringing one out. I've known about them for a few years now, and you can learn some more about what they're doing from this link http://www.maximumsled.com/articles/Redline03/Redline_Is_Back.asp

I have also noticed that Bandit on here has a redline sled pic for his avatar. I thought that was very cool.

Just to add to this, my Mach Z has about 125 - 130 horse I believe, and Dad has had it going 115 on the lake.

Killer, I went through some of my old sled magazines and found that an mxz 800 has about 132 horsepower. This MXZ 800 is a twin cylinder motor with 2 carbs and one exhaust pipe. My 1996 Mach Z is a three cylinder motor with 3 carbs and 3 pipes and 780cc's. So it probably has a little more horse than the 800 twin. It also sucks down the gas, but that's a different story. It is all stock and I am sure that it will outrun an MXZ on the top end.

We have never completely topped out our Mach, but I know that there is no comparison between it and our MXZ 700. I doubt the Mach will run 130 though, that is really, really fast for a six year old stock sled.

Okay, I have ridden at 175km/hour on my MXZ 700 which coverts to
175 kilometers/hour = 108.73975 miles/hour

Just thought I would mention that, its totaly stock. Obiously a Triple Mach 780 with tripple pipes would beat an 800mxz Machs are speed machines...

Yeah, that sounds about right for the top speed of the 700 Rip_Tear. Ours is a 2000 with no mods and I know it will do about just what you say.

Killer, an 800 with those mods is going to be a mean machine. I'll agree with that. They're pretty mean anyways. Those big twin cylinders are good on the low end though. They will keep up with my triple up to like 80 mile an hour then I will blow them out of the water.

Phatswinn, the F7's are very nice machines. They make a lot of horsepower. Their power to weight ratio is the best in the industry. They have an awesome chassis and handling characteristics. There is one major problem. I've heard of about 8-10 of these have already blown up this season. I know of one that had the motor blow up at 30 miles. A lot of them have blown up with 150-200 miles on them. I'm not saying they're bad, but it sounds like Artic Cat needs to get some major bugs worked out of them.

if the motor blows up, its time for a rebuild with some porting, allitle bore job and u know hi-comp :D i wonder if you could take the floor boards off and weld pegs up front and in a regular spot to stand? yep i know what im buying this summer
