plz help what carb to use

i have a 470 kit hot cams and k&n w/ no lid i do not no what carb i should up grade to if you guys could help plz i heard there no point to the 470 kit if there not a biger carb plz help

Try a Keihin FCR 41mm . Or you could steal a 40mm CVK Keihin off your neigbor's Harley.:D

I've actually tried that. A couple of guys and I ot central tried to adapt an HS40 off an older pan head. It was a lot of work. While the carb did seem to work well, trying to get past the throttle stiffness vs. high idle prooved to be too much and we gave up. The CV carb might be easier. By the time you get done f'n around the FCR is probably a better choice. Specially with all the documentation on adapting it to a z

Believe me, your gonna feel the difference. So true if your still running that Mikuni with that 470 kit.

FCR40 or 41 off the 450r or the FCR39 from the yfz450
