Anything exciting for 09?

Other than the DS450 mx and KTM SX models, what really is there that is exciting for 09?

I'm really contemplating getting an SX for a spare and for the g/f to ride, but would like to wait and see what else there will be.

I was hearing about some late releases, but havn't heard anything too interesting.

I love my 08 KTM and would like to add another to the stable,but just wanna wait it out.

Any news from anyone? Or release dates set on anything else?

well to be honest i think all eyes are on honda at the moment.... yeah i myself am a little curious to see, and something else ive hit on is that suzuki has yet to realease an 09 ltr for what its worth....hmmm, anyway i wouldnt mind a ktm myself, but other than that nobody has done anything so far for 09 to make me want to get rid of the kfx, so as far as "excitment" goes for right now i think youve covered it all.....

My sponsor( Yamaha dealer) was invited to the Yamaha show in Vegas this Sept. He's hoping there going to release a new YFZ

The only thing i would really put money on right now would be that Yam is going to be tweekin the frame on the YFZ. I think they will switch to a narrow frame (simmilar to the KFX). The only reason iam so positive about this is becasue anybody remember ballence's tweeked frame????

I don't doubt that Yamaha might tweak the frame, but they wouldn't have waited this long to only change the frame. If something as major as the frame being narrowed changes, I'm willing to bet there will be other big changes like maybe fuel injection.

i for one will no longer support either honduh or yamahaha if they don't get their asses in gear soon and start spittin out some stuff that rivals the other bikes........

I remeber Ballance stating wait till ya'll see the 09 yfz. Another reason he was racing this year was the release of the 09. So whats up? Doesn't look like anything new from Yami.

Pretty sure they have new models towards the end or beginng of fall.

they arent really released yet, not till november, but you can see that there isnt much new.

still waiting on Honda ..hopefully somthing new but im not holding my breath.
