Painting Nerf Bar Nets

Does anybody have any tips/tricks or advice on painting or dyeing the nets from blue to black. On some nerfs you can get new nylon nets but mine aren't replaceable and I would think there could be an easy way to just paint them black. Thanks for any advice guys.

Im sure you could dye them like any other fabric

I wouldn't even try paint. Go to an arts and crafts store and find some black fabric dye.

bleach them first mixing black and red might make them purple or something
