hard shifting??

so i just spent 4 days on the dunes with the 426 for the first time since the build, and it ran great. but sunday afternoon it became very hard to upshift; i had to really pull up hard on the shifter to get it to go into the next gear.

is this a tell-tale symptom of something? or any ideas?

burnt nasty oil ghunking up the shiffting drum. mabe a bent fork? and mabe a clutching issue. hows it when you start it up in gear with the clutch pulled in? does it pull alot?

what do you mean by pull?

i started the weekend out with fresh oil... but maybe it could've built up i guess..

ah gotcha, no. clutch acted normal, just was hard to get the shifter to engage the next gear while riding.

did you take a spill or something? that's weird. during your next build you could take a look.. mabe a bearings for the shift rods and what not are going. you nevber know till byou break it down
