i was thinking about cutting my fenders but i ride trails and some mud....is this gonna be a big mistake

i just did mine a week ago....i ride trails and i still did it....i went riding last weekend and didn't get muddy....but then again all the mud holes were frozen over....:p
so wht ya think i should do

well when i had a post up about cutting my fenders people said that they didn't get much muddier (SP?) when they had cut fenders....do you race at all....if you do i would suggest it cause it looks really good....

you get muddy no matter what. Cut those fenders they look great. I got muddy before I cut mine, and I get a little more muddy now that I have cut them. But they look good.

on gravel roads, will it throw gravel up on ya real bad? i really want to cut mine too, but have reservations about taking a piece of gravel to the head if it will throw them up on me a lot,,hehe,,,later

Well, why don't you buy a set of cut fenders from someone tryin to sell theirs then you can just switch fenders. when its muddy run the fenders, dry run the race cuts.
cut fenders arent so bad in wet whether, you get dirty regardless, i love mine cut, so i cut em.
