just installed the powerbomb and it didn't seam like the clamps where fitting right. I tighten them as much as I could with out fear of stripping the bolts, but it sounds like its got a leak from the head but I cant feel any hot air comming out I can just hear like a ticking noise. Also the only thing it came with was the header and the t clamps the tighten it to the head is there anything else that should come with it.

On a side note it has this really loud high pitched pop when I let off the throttel is it suposed to do that

either there is a leak somewhere and/or you need to adjust the fuel screw or get a bigger pilot jet. thats my guess

there are crush gaskets that fit inside each exhaust port where the header attaches. replace them whenever you remove your head pipe.. :) $4 well spent

your jetting is off, and you need to install new exhaust header gaskets.

dude mine did that the bolts were loose it backfired every time i let off. but its very noticable you can hear it coming from up front so if yours doesnt sounds from up there it is probly jetting.

Would anyone have the part number for the crush gaskets? Are they the same for all years? I have a 99 with fmf header .
Thanks

before you do that just loosen them all the way and tighten them evenly, it take a little while but most just snug them and torque one at a time and it will always sit cocked. If it still does it then replace them, they are reusable after all.
