Trans question

I need some help. I have a 06 450r and its been great up until now. When ever I try to shift it just grinds. I took it apart once and found my shift shaft was cracked so I replaced it. It will shift now if the motors not running. Once I try to ride it just grinds when I try to upshift. My clutch looked fine when I took it apart the last time. Has anyone had any trans issues??? Could something inside the trans cause this???? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Is the clutch adjusted properly? Did you try to shift without using the clutch?

I think so. The quad doesn't try to pull when I start it in gear, but I'll go out after work tonight and try playing with it a little.

I had my tran in my 07 pretty much explode and just before it went it made a funny noise when i would try to go from neutral to 2nd but was fine from 1st to 2nd. So i would check all the gears and look over everything

I checked my clutch and everything looks ok. I guess I'll have to split the cases and see what I find. Thanks for your help guys.
