Kill switch question?

Installed a new pro armor kill switch on my boys drx 50. Wired it into the same connections the factory one was wired to. Bike will only run with the tether removed. Tried switching the wires, same result. Little help would be appreciated.

Unhook it, run one the the hot side of the coil and run the other side to a ground, it will work then....

Yep that's it..... just like grounding out an old lawnmower with a screwdriver to shut it off.

yea hot side of coil is orange wire and other ground to frame , and plug together two wires that stock one pluged to
