i seen a poste that said there might be a new 250r engine in 400ex frame.. it is supposed to be hard to keep the front end off the ground. it is supposed to come out soon and stay out till the 2 strokes are banned....

if they come out wit this what do u think the top speed will be like 76 mph.. i hope this is true... its also in the jan... issue of dirtwheels

thier probaly 43 hp or so, should def be faster than 250r, i think thier 8 grand or so, stock suspension

yea they should be like 5-7 g lol

well it should be faster than any stock c dale, just needs shocks figure u spend 5 on a 400ex and spend 3 to make the motor as fast as that cr 250 is

they arent worth it, they should sell them for like 5800 or so and they'd get rid of those 400 frames quicker so they can release the new quad

look at all the work they have to do to put the cr motor in there, cut the vibration and make a pipe i think it may have lights as well im not sure tho , it wouldnt not make sense for them to sell them for 5600

what do u think the top speed will be and how will they compete against raps, banshees, cannondale etc...

well a stock cr 250 bike is faster than any quad out there, it should be as fast and quick as a moto 440 depending ont he pipe and filter setup it comes with

"The new machine will use a 400EX chassis and be powered by a liquid-cooled, two stroke CR250 dirtbike engine producing nearly 45 horsepower. The company is known for tackling such projects for dirt bikes in the past and this is to be their first ATV effort. From our experience, we kno their products to be first rate. All of the components of the quad chassis will be in stock form. However, the motor will use an after market exhaust system, probably made by FMF or Pro Circuit. The builders tell us the sticker price will be around the $8000 mark. We have a test of this machine within the next few months and no, this is not an April fool's joke. The headlights will be unusable the CR ignition has no light provisions unless they get stator mods...

the CR produces more HP, and will be the most powerfull quad out as of now, if it comes out, but it all depends on gearing and stuff
