I need help hooking up a tether killswitch on my ltr. I have found ways to hook it up on other 450's but they are not efi and i heard if i hook it up wrong it will fry my computer. So i need to know which wires to wire my tether killswitch into. I have tried searching but it wont let me search for ltr because it has to be a 4 letter word on this site.

I cut my orange and orange/white wires and spliced one wire from my tether into the orange one and the other wire from my tether into the orange/white coming from my stock killswitch and it would not start unless the tether killswitch was pulled. It was like it was wired up backwards.

I have mine spliced into my tip over switch but you can also splice into the wires coming of your coil also, the one coming off your upper motor mount

i spliced mine right into my original killswitch wire from the factory starter button setup...best thing to do in my opinion.

You might have a different style killswitch. I thought there were open + closed style switches.

I have a Pro Design and I hooked it up to the coil with no problems whatsoever.

So those two wires are black with a white stripe and white with a blue stripe does it matter which one i splice into? Sorry guys for all the questions i just dont want to fry anything that has to do with the efi since this thing is all electronic
