How often do you guys check or replace reeds?Do you replace them every so often or wait until they go bad or break?

Good Question. Mine have been in for over a year.

i believe these are one of the most overlooked items, checking them after a handfull of races or even more often if you so choose could save you a ton of money , as a broken reed can lead to costly repairs, (i.e) crank bearings and rod bearings. been there done that.

I checked mine after 6 months and they looked new.

I just replaced my, put carbon fiber ones in. Are they better that stock plastic ones?
