Broken shock

Today i was hitting this jump pretty hard for a 300ex, an i broke my right front shock of at the weld where it connects to the lower piece. I cant reweld it because a piece of the actual shock came off with it an fluid was dripping out of the shock. So does anyone kno of any cheap aftermarket shocks? I dont really care about performance right now an dont have alot of money to spend.

Pretty much anyone who has ever ridden a stock 300ex hard has broken their shock there. That weld is pitiful. Who spot welds a lower shock mount to the shock body? It still supprises me after 20+ years that they STILL havent fixed that.

Yah the weld seemed way to little..its hard to think that it did hold up to a few big jumps though..deff wont be riding as hard next time.
