I just wanted to see what everybody's opinions are on my 87 250x. I don't think it's too bad for being 21 years old. I have had it for 11 years but just recently started to put some more money into it. I just put new front fenders on it as the old factory gray ones were all cracked up. I still have things I want to get for it and want to do with it but I just wanted to see what everybody thinks of it. Let me hear your likes and dislikes on it. I only do trail riding at the time.

-Graydon Proline Thumper exhaust full system
-Pro Tapers (ATV Mid Bend)
-Tag front bumper
-DG Alloy Nerfs
-Works rear shock

Looks Awesome! I think all you need is some new tires a new black or red pair of nets and a black seat cover. Pretty Cool machine!:D

Hey thanks 300maniac. I definatley want to get the black nets like you suggested. I got the pipe when Graydon Proline was still in business about 8 years ago. The thing is unbelievabley loud and deep sounding it gave me a noticable amount of throttle response, I really like it and wish they wouldn't have went out of business.

Also, what tires would you recommend me if I am pretty much just doing trail/woods riding. Holeshots or razrs maybe?

Thanks again man.

I think itp gncc's would work great for you! Put some 20's in the back and some 21's in ther front youll be good to go!

eally nice ride bud.
As for tires I really like my ITP holeshot sr;s. I don't know how well they are going to hold up but the ride and traction are great for trail and fast fire roads.

Thanks for the help with tires guys. I will check into them and hopefully make some changes this winter. Im gonna tear it down this winter and get some stuff painted or paint it myself. I would like to paint the frame and swingarm all flat black.

Can't go wrong with the standard 4 or 6-ply 20" Maxxis Razr rears either. Great all around tire.

i got 20in razars in the back of mine and i do mainly trail riding and i absolutly love them even pretty good in some light mud as long as you stay on the throtle a little. i'd recomend them to anybody just dont ride on the pavement w/ them much cuz they dont last long, did that and i'm gonna need some tires here soon and i'll be gettin another set of them. otherwise ur quad looks pretty sweet man. good job. and good luck w/ the rest.

I would like some opinions on getting a black seat cover for this bike. Do you guys have any ideas on what type/style? Or good websites for them. Would like it to say Honda on the side. Thanks for the help quys.

I love my CEET Gripper cover. It's lasted me years.

There are lots of brands out there w/ similar covers.

I'd check w/ C&D Racing in their forum below for options and prices. I'm sure they have a great selection.

Note: In the pic.. yes one tire was installed backwards, oops. It's was immediatly fixed. And, skidplate was off. I was replacing the hex head bolts w/ button head torx bolts so it would slide easier. ;)
