blown head gasket! can i 440 or 400 gasket kit

yeah.. blew the head gasket on the bike, on ebay its the same price for a 440 kit and motosport sells the 400 kit by cometic. i love motosport and would much rather prefer them. my question is, is there a difference between the two kits. can i get the 400 mjust because i dont want to go threw ebay?

440 different size....bigger than 400


i would check head studs to make sure they aren't pulling out...a problem with 440...

get gt thunder studs installed. itll blow again if you dont.

Get comatic gasket, the best on the market IMO. But but ruby soho is right. I blew my head gasket twice and replaced the studs and havent had a problem with it since...but 440 is a 89mm and 400 is a 84 or 85mm i belive. thats the difference..

hey.. how long does it take for you guys to blow a head gasket? i was really worried about this when i put my 440 together and i thought it would blow when i was practiceng on my track(frist time i got it running) but it was good. and i raced it for about a month and it still hasnt blowen. right now its apart but when it was running i use to run laps pretty much every night at my place and then raced the weekends.. i checked the head studs today and they seam to be good. is that weird or do you guys think it will go just give it more time? lol

just sent my spare cylinder to GT thunder today to have the HD studs installed.

You can't have a 440 without them! PERIOD! you fix this gasket today...you will blow another one by next week or sooner
