Is there any real problems with the 08's? i want a reliable 450 and cant decide out of the yfz, 450r, and ltr 450. also how do you guys feel they compare to the others

i like my yfz, it handles great, but its always giving me problems (motor/electrical/etc). i had an 07 450r and it was ok, i hated the handling but i gotta say it was a reliable quad. but if the ltr will work for your type of riding i think its the best of the 3.

as far as i kno the 08 450r's dont have any problems but i could be wrong..

alright thanks guys, stock for stock, how do they do against the yfz and 450r? my buddy has one but its so modded its not a good comparison? and mx1791 what year ftz do you have? i havent seen anyone complaining about 07/08's are they still trouble?

my yfz is an 06. stock for stock the yfz blowsssssssss away they 450r. imo better suspension, handling, and power, though with the yfz you feel more vibration and the steering is a little more jittery. once you mod both equally susension wise, they will both handle good, its just personal preference at that point..

agreed stock for stock there is no comaparison the yfz takes it, ive rode both stock several times

In the motor department, i like the power of the 450r better. The YFZ didn't seem like it came on as strong as the 450r. I liked the way both of them handled and felt.
