07 vs 08

First do these two years have the oiling problem i hear about? what are the problems with these and are the 08's any better? my dealer has both brand new

They dont have oiling problems in 07/08 and there isnt really anything wrong with the 08 yfz. From 07 to 08 they got better shocks with high and low speed adjustment.

alright thats good to know. im having a hard time deciding between a 450r, ltr 450 and the yfz and above all i want it to be reliable

in 07 and on they fixed the oiling problem and added pro tapers so ur good there, i personally like my yfz i havent had it for more than a couple months but it seems reliable now

ive had all 3... honda great quad, super reliable, but rear end is bouncy unless modified/aftermarket.

YFZ... my fav of all 3, just traded my LTR for one.

LTR.. great quad, but unreliable transmission problems and pain in the *** to work on

, best bet is get a YFZ or TRX and widen it to make it up to par with the ltr.
