I'm thinking it is just the brakes. Rotor might be warped just a little and then it hits the pads and squeaks. Mine squeaks too sometimes.

Can one just replace the bearings or could the whole carrier be trashed. Mine does the same thing.

you know when the bearings are shot, they will squeak the whole time riding, your axle will have play in it, and if you ride it the carrier and that back part of your swingarm will get warm.

well then the carrier sounds ok then. it must bee the pads but they dont look worn enoght to be bad.

You can just get new bearings, but the prob it getting them out of the carrier. i havent done it my self yet but you here about it often around here.

Is your parking break still on yours?

Mine was not when I got mine... and I figured that might have been the motivation for taking it off.

I have to get a blockoff kit for it though... the dummy just took the cable off.

You can't hear anything while riding mine. It's only when I'm moving it around when it's off. Mine sounds more like a creak than a squeak. My rear pads are shot. I'm stopping with the backing plates, no materials left. I got new ones coming from RMATV though.

Oh... then the piston is likely so far extended now that it's not backing off well.

Brake time!

Mine does the same thing. sit your swingarm/ frame on a stand so your rear end is off the ground. when you do this see if your AXLE has any play in it (up and down)( then again shouldnt have any side to side wither), if it does it is likely your carrier.

I raised the back off the ground. I have no side to side play. It does however have up and down play on the brake side. Hardly any on the sprocket side. The axle spins freely. Will bearings fix this or will I need a whole carrier?

mine is like that to. but its very very little movement up and down.
