clutch help fast....

i just took apart my clutch pulled the basket out to look at it but there is 6 springs back there what do they do? also all the springs have white stripes on them except one but all the springs are loose in there except the blue one are they wore out or is this all normal..

the metal and fiber plates sit in the basket. The pressure plate covers those plates and holds them in with the help of 6 springs and a bolt in the middle of each spring.

color and markings don't mean anything other than they are OEM

i guess i did not expain it in enough depth on the back side of the clutch basket on my 400ex there is a gear on that gear there is a metal plate with springs that are horazontal all the springs are loose except one it sits in there tight and it has a different color marking on it its blue the others are white. my question is is that normal for the springs to have play?

OK...gotcha. Yeah, I forgot those little guys on the back of the gear. Never really inspected them for tightness or wear.
