i have been given a 1973 600cc Honda motorcycle engine for some work i did. anyway, i was wondering if you guys could maybe find me as much information on this engine as possibble. he thinks its a 73 but he wasnt too sure. i have no idea what kind of bike it came from either. its a 4 cylinder engine and 4 carbs on it also and it is a genuine honda. need you guys to help me here. i need info on any parts available to fit it, specs, anything you can possibley find. i plan to build a stret legal sand rail out of this engine. and i think im going to need quite a few parts to get it running. there was no kick starter on it so im hopeing its electric start. and thats all i know at this point untill i start tearin into it but thats why i want some info first. shop info would be awesome if you can find any. hey, next winter if we get it done in time you might even see it in glamis never know.....

PS. any info feel free to e-mail it to me at mountainbiker77@hotmail.com

it's not a 600, honda made a cb550 and cb350 and cb750 all 4 cylinders, back then, look on the motor above the shifter "on the cylinder's" see how many cc's

yea i was lookin at that too. and its too big to be a 350. so ti has to be either a 550 or 750. or a different year. but all the 4's have good power output rite?

more parts are available for the 750 if that's what you have, check ebay they have a little bit of everything, the 550 wasn't very powerfull
