2007 ,2008 exhaust

Hello I'm new the the atv scene and just bought an 07 400ex 8 days ago and have already purchased a fmf powerbomb header. I also have a friend that has an 08 400ex and he just bought the two brothers m7 slip-on my question is what is the difference in the motors,headers, slip-ons between mine and his, I like his slip-on but don't know if it will work with my bike visually they look the same tho.

The motors are the same. The only thing that would possibly not work would be the header touching the plastic...Which i doubt will be an issue so as far as i know, it will be fine?

not really worried about the header i just bought a power bomb i just wanted to know if his slipon two brothers would fit my quad since the 07 m7 exhaust is different then the 08 m7 exhaust
