Joe Byrd at Steel City???

Why is Byrd not on the list for Steel City?
What if he is the second unkown rider for another factory looking for a big name? Maybe polaris, it would make sense.

Pepper told me The France thing was just a cover up. His honda contract is up as of Aug 21. Tomorrow should be the update on the other Polaris rider. Don't be to shocked is what I'm told.

I can tell you that another Polaris rider will be a Pro-am rider who will be making him Pro debut at Steel City. I'm not sure when they'll reveal who he is. He's a MotoX Nutrition rider though!

He should do well in the pro ranks.

I'd better not either. A press release will be out soon I'm sure. Who knows, perhaps there will be a couple new Polaris riders added to next years program.
It's fun to see a new pro coming into the mix.

I don't think they are trying to keep it quiet, I'm not sure why they would. Dunk and Mitch Reynolds are riding Polaris at Steel City.

Now I wished I'd been the one to share it. Mitch said he starting riding a race ready 09' a little over a week ago and it's much improved and he feels it should be very competitive. I think Mitch will do great. He's been a top finisher in one of the toughest pro-am classes in a while.

Well I started this just to stir some things up, Its been a little boring in the forums. It is nice to see someone finally spill the beans. I don't understand why everyone is so secretive anymore. I mean magazines come out with stuff as fast as these forums anymore. Now who is the other Yamaha rider? Thomas Brown, or is Byrd switching to them? Haha

I don't know why Thomas Brown wouldn't be the other Yamaha rider...

This is just a one time race for Mitch and Dunk on the Polaris from what I've heard. Next year hasn't been decided yet.

WOW what an awesome race!!! Wienen and Upperman really impressed me tonight. Josh ran a good smart race. He was maintaining 2nd and then I think he got tired/hot in the end. Gust pulled the holeshot and lead first 4 laps i think.

Dunk was having a hell of a time on the Piglaris....wow did it ever live up to everyone's expectations...the front end was vibrating like a un-balanced washing machine on spin cycle...he had no power, and the suspension looked like he was on a pogo stick....I wish he would have been on the Honda....:ermm:
