89 LRD attitude Aluminum frame 250R for sale

I hate to sale i love it but i want a 450 so ok this is and lrd aluminum frame with and 86 motor that is upgrade to a 89 motor and is bored over 90 with and esr pipe and silencer almost brand new full bore race cut red plastic the aarms are not stoock but dont know what they are there chrome chrome swing arm works shocks with resivors kill switch new crank the whole bottom end is brank new Im asking 4500 obo if you want pics pm me and i will email them to you Thank you

i have no clue what the last part of your post is saying....but are you saying you got a lrd frame for $250?? If you say yes you must answer the following questions. How many welds are on it and how many welds have to be put on it? where is it stolen from? Also you say you have to make sure your 87 motor fits into an 89 frame? Hate to tell you but if your buying an 89 LRD frame you better hold onto that forever because that LIMITED!!Post pics!!

I think he was trying to say that he owns a 250r and that he found a good deal on a LRD frame.

Jeepman: I can't quite justify $2500 for the frame but why don't you consider parting the bike out and putting everything on ebay. I would definitely be a bidder on the frame. Just a thought.

I think he's got a bit of a conundrum. If he parts the bike out he'll likely get $1500 at most for the frame, the rest of the bike without the frame is worth around $1500.

With a stock frame, his machine would be a 2K machine - maybe $2500

He's either going to find someone to pay close to what he wants because they absolutely want that frame, or he'll sit on it and drop his price eventually.

The frame definately wouldn't bring $2500 on ebay. The last 2 or 3 aluminum R frames have not even brought $1,500 on ebay. If I remember right they were in the $1000 to $1100 range.

there was one about a month or two ago and it went for $1100 i believe, there was one a couple weeks before that and it went for the same amount basically

Sorry about the whole price thing on this frame but im not ever going to part my bike out and i was just shooting a number out there to see what the guy would say to it didnt mean to get u guys all worked up about this

I'm not worked up at all. I was just saying what I've seen them sell for. I have an aluminum framed R too, so when I see one up for sale, I watch it just to see what it does. The frames do pop up from time to time on ebay.

I agree with you jeepman, I hate to part a nice bike out, but unfortunately, that seems to be the only way to get your money out of them these days.

I have seen those aluminum frames all hacked up at the footpeg area.
