well ive waited a long time to say this , but its finally done! this is my 2000 400ex i bought bone stock and did eveything you see.
i just finished up the engine and that was a complete nightmare. a month and about 1200 later i have this...

Must feel awesome to be done, i am almost there i just finished my 450r carb install now all i have to do is install my spal fan and and get it jetted correctly. Also my frame needs a powdercoat but thats no biggy.

Looks good, but the heelguards look broke and the nerfs look a bit to high?

The AC nerfs flair up like that on the sides.

IC, I'd take the heelguards off then cuz it looks like there not doing anything.

guys, i think that the nerf is bent im no there supost to flair up but if you look at how high up one is on the heel gard and then the ther side... one side is highier up.

those look way bent, i have ac nerfs and they are perfectly straight

the older acs flair up like that, and i modified them to fit the stock heelguards when i first got them, but the bolt that held the bottom mount of the heelguard came out, and i have yet to replace it. its gettin a set of AC blacklines with the heelguards as soon as i get the $

really? how old cuz mine are from 2002 and they dont flair up like that
