Pics of the new mxr 450

i live in glyndon minnesota wich is just east of fargo nd and i work at buffalo river race park and polaris had their 09 line up out there to test out and i had a chance to look at the new mxr 450 i think that it was a very nice quad i didnt get to ride it but the seat and bars felt great i also snaooed a few pics (phone pics kidna crappy)

it looks about right to me, the steering setup should help keep the elbows high in the corners, i'd like to put in a little seat time on one.

For a taller person it would be great. But being 5'7", I can't stand to ride a quad with handlebars as high as a kite.

yeah i can see where your coming from, i'm only 5' 11" myself but i find that handlebars that may seem to tall when your looking at a bike actually help you keep your form when your riding, thats why you see most mx bikes with +1 or more stems

those plastics are UGLY. Maybe its just me, I like 250r plastics, 400ex(old) are close, and 450r are still pretty good. All the new plastics for atv's on most of the other brands look like bugs and ugly as hell. I don't get why they use sharp points everywhere?

That isn't stock height. Looks to have the Rath anti-vibe riser. It adds 2 1/2"

Everytime a new look in the sport quad plastic, everyone says it's ugly. Happen to the 450R, KFX 450, Renegade, DS450, and so on. It's new, but once out for awhile, everyone will get used to it.:macho

In stock form, I think the new polaris is hideous.

But I think with the front fenders cut/removed, and an aftermarket hood, it would look sick. It's that headlight and awkward front fenders that kill it.

From the rear, I LOVE it. But the front needs a face lift. I would love to see on cut with a hood.

the bars have aftermarket trail tech risers and bars i am 5 10 and race mx it feels perfect to me

i like the looks of it, i just wish they kept the 525irs with the pred plastic just to kinda separate whats for "sport" and whats for "trail", and they should start making more quads with the giant rear fenders like the ltr's and ktm's i dont know why i like em i just do, instead of all pointy...
