View Full Version : Anyone Runnign the FMF full 4.1 system?

I know most people run the dasa, but those things are so friggen loud!! I'm looking for a reliable system that makes power and good sound but not overly loud! I like the fmf and wondered if any one is running them.

I run them on both of my bikes an i like them. Them make good power. I run them with the megabomb. When i get db checked at the races i usually run between 96-101 db. The mid pipe does have a lot of stress on it and is a weak point of the system. Fmf will fix it for free but if you order one through them i would ask to get it fixed before you even get it. It needs to be double tabbed instead of the single that it comes with. Overall I like the system.

the mega bomb is the ti header right? does it crack or something?

yes everything is Ti but the mid pipe which has a single tab that mounts where your stock pipe mounts. The tab has flawless weld but there is a lot of stress there so the tab will break away from the mid pipe.

are you running a power commander?

on my practice bike i have a power comander and on my race bike i have a motoworks controller. Yes it makes good power. I would recommend the pipe.

how hard is that power comander to use? did you have your bike dyno tuned?

I am running one on a DS 450 and love it.

you running a mega bomb header with it?
