Jetting again???

Can you even jet a stock 400ex carb on 440ex? I hve tuned mine so far and its still running lean. what else would anybody suggest to do?

I suggest a 450R carb..;.they are fairly cheap, and a hell of an upgrade.

Jeting can be done using stock carb....it's done all the time....If you are still lean....go get bigger jets from a dealer. They are $5 a pop and they should have tons of them. Pilots run around $6 each.

What is your jeting at now???

42 pilot, 175 main, and a dynomax needle and clip in the middle position. Weve adjusted it alot of times and it keeps running lean

What about a 39mm or 41mm FCR carb? Are they any better than the 450r's or not?
