Not sure if this is the right place to post my question, but I give ot a try.
Me and my son have decided to try to build a race quad. We got a 05 Bombardier ds 90 with a brand new engine, but we are looking for some other parts for the ride. Have been looking aroud the net, but do not alot of parts. We are looking for nerf bars, bumper, a-arm kits, long travel svingarm.
Does anyone know if we can use parts made for another quad, or if anyone know where to get it ( new or used )

Thaks

Rune

Well Nichols atv good talking to you to.If your spelling were to read Brokke that wold be a place about 2hrs away from me,a lot of the people there has the last name Brokke and some of them has relatives hwo emigrated to the US
On the atv side of things got an offer from a local atv and scooter parts dealer for a sylinder kit called Hebo Revolution able to pull 26 hp+ for my sons apex 70,the thing i wonder about how driveable are the 70cc quads with hp s in the 20s or moore.
Stein A:D :D :D :D :D :D
Ps have you Can-Am guys found any sylinders and heads to fit the Ds 90 x yet Chinese or others.:eek2:

Can you email me some info on that 70 kit is it water cooled ? My friend has about 22 hp and it flys. We are stock at 13 ish and we fly betting than some 90 s all the time .Well the relatives lived in Torton or some town with some name like that and there names was BJerke.
No one yet has a aftermarket cylinder kit for the 90x but it will come be patient.

atv-norway I have an o5 ds90 that I did modify. I added front arms, they were for a kasea, and they worked. I think I bought them from east coast atv. I added works shocks, also from EC atv. The motor work was done by my mech. ported cylinder, high comp head, and I had GT Thunder add a carb and do the spring and rollers. It runs great, good and fast. However I don't think it has more than 12 hp. I dont think its possible to get much more than that, and still keep it a 90. If , however you know how to get 20 hp out of it and retain it as a 90, LET ME KNOW, I have some Apex's that I would like to beef up.

sorry not wishing to upset anyone but i just cant believe you can get 20hp that is usable, yes those minarelli engines can knock out over 20 hp in scooters, but we are currently leading 3 out of 4 uk championships and sorry we just cannot get 20 hp even
with just one wheel on the rolling road, but if some one can show me the results then fair play, but bear in mind we are also built the world junior mx engine winner, the european scooter enduance engine and are leading many of the uk championship, but some one may know more than me i would just be interested in seeing the results

Well the hp numbers are ment for the scooters, most of the 70cc cylinder kits are made for european scooter cups, the racing scooters have sylinders from Hebo Metrakit Pollini Bidalot and Mallossi and maybe Airsal and others and offcourse you need the rigth pipe carb ignition and clutch to get the power to the weels.
Al i know is that some of the racing scooters has about 28 hp in the minarelli engines, how much power is lost by putting similar setups on the mini quads i dont know.
Anyway we race stock here in Norway we can uppgrade the suspention and chassis and vario and cluth, sylinders ,pipe and carb dont need to be stock oem but similar size and hp output so any thing close to 20 hp is not legal in our racing scene,so maybe Metrakit handmade will be the thing for us.
