Sounds like a head gasket.

Alot of oil or just alittle? I have some oil in my coolant, but thats from using the same funnel as I use for oils and some gets in there.

It will probably smell like exhaust gas in the radiator if you have a head sealing problem. Start there first. You can try this too if you feel experimental. Open the radiator cap to relieve any pressure in the lines. Feel the hoses before you start it and notice their stifness. Start it up and rev the engine a couple times. Feel if the hoses are stiffer. They shoudln't be, so if they are you probably have gas pressure pushing the oil into the coolant.

Well, if you have warped head or cyl, putting a TRX gasket on won't fix the problem. When you get problems like this it's kind of important to have a flat bar or stone and a machinist feeler gauge to check warpage. You're not allowed much before a leak starts to get easy to get.

One thing you can try is spraying copper gasket spray on a CR gasket. That will sometimes buy you some time if things aren't too bad.

i do this regardless. the only difference is i use three bond or equivelant as additional insurance. the CR gasket can be re-used if it is prepped and treated with acetone or equivelant.

another lil' something that i do on every build is to check the trueness of the head and lap the service regardless. works well.
