SO I got some taller bars - after lots of research on the internet, I bought whatever they had at the local dealership :D . I think they are MSR and they have a cross-bar with a pad.

Well, I took the stock bars off - they were a little bit bent (some ******* wrecked my quad the second day I had it - oh wait . . . that was me).

On go the newer, slightly taller bars. I noted that they don't have the handy dandy little tab to mount the little "dashboard" for lack of a better term.

So - what are the options? I'd like to keep the key start and indicator lights. But if I throw the little plastic piece back on, it'll just flop around.

Show me and explain to me what you've done. And remember - other that changing the oil on this thing, this is as crazy as I've gotten with this quad. I'm a mechanical idiot, so talk slowly and loudly, and use lots of hand gestures.

Discuss.

Yeah, I thought of that, but since the cross bar thing is there, the key would be behind the bar and pad.

Yea that sucks, do you know of anymore places that would have them, in a polished metal maybe?

Thanks 250x - but I have an idea I'm gonna try in a few days. Had a minor surgery on my neck today so it's a few days of rest for me first.
