Ive heard of people using CBR oil coolers. Ive even seen somebody use a heater core out of an f150, no lie! It did work by the way, but Im not sure if id do it tho.

^^^ I thought in ATV Sport in that story about the guy planning on doing a front flip he had a Trans cooler. I'd think that would work.
Here's a few things that you could use to keep it cool
1. Spal Fan
2. Over sized oil tank
3. Over sized oil cooler
4. Heavy weight oil (20w50) full synthetic

Here are some pictures of my modified CBR oil cooler. I just cut the original mounts off my stock cooler, and welded them onto the CBR cooler. I will have to trim my scoops a little for line clearance but otherwise it fits great. In addition to the oversize tank I will also be adding a secondary oil cooler similar to the ones Four Stroke Tech sells.

wow that looks nice! if you add a secondary cooler too i cant imagine it running much warmer than a liquid cooled quad. Would you like to share how the lines fit up or if they need to be modified. Also which CBR cooler is that?

It's an 1100 cooler. The oil line going from the motor to the cooler will still work, it may need a little tweaking. The shorter line going from the tank to the cooler however will not work since the bigger cooler is wider. I was fortunate enough to buy this cooler from another member on the site and he included the longer line pictured that was heated and tweaked a little bit. Here is a picture of the difference in length.
