I have a Honda Pilot that I am putting a big bore kit on. I assume it is simular to kit for the 400ex. The cylinder is bored to 89 mm and what piston is used? the 480 or 500? Whats the differance? Right now I just have a bored out cylinder thats ported and polished. There a spacer needed between the cylinder and block how thick is it. If this sounds totallydifferant from the 400ex big bore kit let me know.

isnt a pilot a 2 stroke? U dont reall yput cylinder spacer plates on 4 strokes. The whole purpose of that is to change the port timing on a 2 stroke. I could be wrong here, but i think u are a little confused:D Or maybe im thinkin of a Odyssey:confused:

I am confused. Just trying to make sense of things being that the kit is not made anymore. The Pilot is a 2 stroke. I thought there was a 2 stroke honda atv that got a 465 big bore kit. It cant be the 400ex because that is 4 stroke. What is it? Yes the spacer does change the timing.

I know a guy that has a pilot. I know that he goes to a web site but I am unsure what it is. I don't see this guy very often but if I do run into him I can ask what it is. ;)
