So...what a wweekend!!!!

First off, i'm just excited about finally hitting the jumps!!! Felt pretty good, except for the last one!

In the past i've never really hit the jumps and if I did they were strickly tabletops!! Not this round.

I took the time and did the MX track in pieces on Friday and got each jump down and then put it together so I was pretty stoked!!

Unclassified happened and I damn near killed myself going over the log double because I tried to roll it. I pulled off and was watching others go through and not main were jumping it but a few did so I finally lined up and went for it...I made it and then some!!! Ouch I could feel the imprints of the foot pegs in the bottom of my feet!!! It went away but was happy I jumped it!

Ran Production B and didnt do so hot but finished. I got stuck a couple of times and that cost a lot of time and energy...

Next race, Womens A...

Bad start and ended up knudging a girl named Tammy when she rolled, I tried not to but I barely touched her tire. Noticed she was fine so I kept going...Got stuck in some roots once and got out...was feelin pretty good. Finished the second lap and was in 3rd when I overshot the double on the other side of the tower and landed extremely hard so hard that my grip flew off and I fractured my arm...needless to say I didnt finish. I'm extremely disappointed and I also got my very first DNF :(

Overall good weekend except for the arm and getting whiplash so many times from landing rough on the log double!! lol

How was everyone else? How about that weather, we got lucky it was nice for us!!!

Can't wait to see the pictures!!

Glad to hear your ok.................

I threw my chain on the first lap of unclassified, so I didn't get to practice the logs.

Open B, I got the holeshot, then threw the chain again. I went to the pits and fixed it, then got back on the track for 3 laps.

Reed did better than me.................

He finished 9th in Prod. Pro, 2nd in Open Pro, Won his WORCS-X heat, 6th in the WORCS-X main and 14th in the Pro Main on Sunday.

well.....it's officially broke!!! He said I did my wrist real good!

No cast yet, I have to get an MRI done to see if I broke one of the major bones as well that connects to my thumb, I believe its called the scaphoid??

I'm bummed...so far they say I'm out at least 8 weeks. After MRI, depending on results, it could be longer.

Right now with x-rays they say I don't need surgery but that could change after the MRI...

It's hurts quite a bit so I'm thinking I did break that major bone cause my thumb is killer right now!! Along with my wrist!

It's part of it though. Everytime we hop on our quad/bike we take on the risk of injury...stilled bummed about not making the next race :( There goes any chances of end of the year podium in either class :(

Might be able to make Taft, we'll see.

I'll keep you guys updated after MRI!

Photos should be up shortly, in the meantime anything I shot you can find here (http://qjsimaging.com) to view.

Troy shot good video in the Pro Main, also the Rhino class and the WORCS Cross as well.

I was truly sad when we had to come home Monday :(
I soooooo love Wa. State and wish we could have stayed. ...We ALWAYS love getting to race there.
It was so good seeing everyone after what seemed like a very long summer.

If anyone has access to a pit quad, please let me know , I may not have mine put back together until after the awards in Oct.
Ill be more than happy to supply some photos .

Donna, hope you heal fast.. Theres hope, look at how fast Kelsey is! ;) She visited the Doc today and is doing GREAT! e was worred about her knee, but he seems to think it will be ok and wont need anymore surgery(knock on wood!)
Let us know how your doing .
Reeds WORCs cross race was very fun to watch. ITs so cool to see how these kids have stepped it up over time ,very talented young man.:)

Thanks Harlen for the good luck!! I'm bummed but I'm going to take it and make what I can of it.

I'm going to still train...stationary bike and stuff, pedal bike once this has a chance to heal for a couple of weeks!!

Just means I'm going to come back stronger.

I want to be 10x better next year. So that's my plan and goal. I'm looking farther ahead now since I'm out for at least the next race and maybe even the last one in Taft!

we'll see...Tina the pics I've seen so far are awesome!!

well, looks like my shoulder is out as well...I din't notice it right away cause my wrist hurt so bad and then was put in sling and only took it off to sleep...

It hurts to move it in different directions!! Doc's going to look at it when I go back in...

Had my MRI done this afternoon for my wrist. Should hear back the results sometime today or tomorrow, hopefully!

Just all kinds of messed up!!

MRI results are in and it looks like I'm in the clear from having surgery!!

I bruised the crap out of my thumb palm wrist and the other meaty tissue around the thumb area and in betweenthe thumb and pointer finger!! Very nice colors going on!! He said I bruised the bones in the there and thats why that part hurts so much and all discolored.

My radius is definitely fractured. The fracture is more like a crush. My wrist bones and hand slammed into the head of the radius and crushed it and then to the side of it theres a little fracture as well.

Doc said it should heal up nicely!!! He also said we'll shoot for 5 weeks more instead of 7!! So Taft is a huge possibility. My appt is Sept 30!! If clear then I can race...provided I get my strength up in time!!
