long travel linkage + skid plates?

i have long travel linkage in the rear and i need to put skid plates on what can i do?

trim the plate...the linkage is very strong and can take the minimal beating it will receive...

or you can call prm and ask if they make the skid already trimmed for aftermarket linkage for the 400ex...they make one for the 450r
