A friend of mine asked me about the reliability os a 250r for a ressistance race.

She was going to race with her own LTR but a tea offered her to run with a 250r, with a new engine.

It would be 9 hours. I think that 9h. non stop with a 2stroke bike can be "dangerous".

What do you think?.

Thanks.

Me and a couple other guys raced my 250R the entire Maxxis 6 hours in Missouri last year. Over this past weekend I raced the Banned 125 mile race in Iowa on a 250R. No problems at either race.

I would think as long as the bike is properly jetted for the type of riddeing it is going to be used for and the motor is putt togather right you should be great.
