How long can gas sit in your tank before you should not use it?

i was watching TV the other day and a car show said remove it after about 60 days. idk thow

right...my truck sits all summer...
i think gas is good for about 9 to 12 months...if you know it's going to sit juat add fuel stablizer

i thought i heard 5 months is the self life for gas. i'm looking it up online right now. isnt race gas even shorter life?

check this out the guy had gas for 10 years and it was still good. Not as potent as you can see from the picture of the flame.

in the plastic fuel tank.... not long at all. today's gas will generally start to laquer at about two weeks. in a metal container it will last much longer.

as mentioned. if its gonna set for long periods use a stabil
