I need to order a chain tensioner and ZTR sounds like the best option.

I need to know how it should be mounted, I have a chain guide. Will the ZTR still work. Look at the picture and give me an idea of how it could be mounted.

If your ordering the tentioner you might as well get the new frame saver as well. Money well spent. IMO

Your chain guide is to far away from the sprocket to do any good. It should contact the bottom of the chain as the chain contacts the sprocket. This way the chain can't physically skip a tooth on the chain because it is sandwiched between the guide and the sprocket.

I agree with the frame saver also.

Hmmm, what to do.

Brad,I will show Les since he welded it where it is.

Thanks Heath, it's running good right now.

Is the frame saver done now, all the things I saw showed it was getting chewed up?

Thanks,
Darrell

Glad we ran frame savers all year. First couple designs chewed but frame did not. James- ZTR MAN replaced every one & made improvements until he got it right. Definately recommend doing business with ZTR!!!

Here is a Cad Drawing of the ZTR Frame Saver. I have pics on the camera, still looking for the cable to download to the computer. Hopefully, I will have that soon but for now this will at least give you a decent idea of how it functions.

Here the pic of your quad Toby. Please take note that the damage was caused before the ZTR Frame Saver was installed.
