Looking at getting some porting done this winter .. just wondering whos good with these motors?

mike hauso @ moto headz racing ported the head on my 600cc ktm atv and it is sweet!!!

he has been porting for over 20 years and specifically porting the RFS head since 2000. give him a call!!!

Give Frank Batista a call at 559-707-4235. He did my 450xc and he's doing all the factory Polaris motors. I've had zero problems with mine. He can build it from mild to wild. He also has custom pistons and cams.

From everything I've heard, there is not much to be gained from the top end of the KTMs, they are pretty close to max'd out from the factory. Might want to look to other ways of making power like size or cams.

I'm keeping it 450cc, I race mx .. never saw a big bore that worked well on the track.
I'm going with a mild cam and piston .. I want to keep it reliable, and able to run on pump gas.
