What one would you do for a crf150r. hot cam stage one or pc t4 gp exhaust and why.

the cam helps the motor breathe better but with a stock exhaust its not working to its potential. Exhaust helps it breathe better and opens the door for future mods. I'm going to have to go with exhaust for now.

get the exhaust first, get some more air flowing through first get yourself an air filter then break into the motor

Those 150r's are so cool. They rev so damn quick.

Anyway, exhaust first. Later down the road, you can look into pistons/cams/etc.

dirtbikes dont really come with mild cams, the stock cams arent that bad. I would go with the pipe probably. But it probably wont help much either. the exhaust arent that restricted on bikes that bad either. on my CRF is has a full system exhaust and most people recommend stock jetting, so i dont see why even put a aftermarket on. I put a stage 2 hotcam in my CRF also, and it didnt help a ton, pulled slightly harder. but didnt really help that much.

anything will rev quick with the right weight on the crank..

the 150 is basically a smaller displacement crf250r.

btw, id go with an exhaust, then do your motor work.

Alrite exhaust it is. What will the pipe do? Change the powerband or add power or both?

Pipe first, then cam.

When you put a pipe on it, be sure you get a good filter and rejet it.

I know that, just the fact they're such a tiny motor that makes so much power amazes me. But they are literally like 2-strokes, all their engine components are so light.

I dont think these dirt bikes are like quads, their exhaust and air filter are REALLY free flowing. I am thinking i wont need to rejet. I will find out when i run it.

if was you, i would get some port work done. probably around 400 bucks, and help a good bit.

Ya,umm.... my parents are kinda sketchy about this whole thing. the exhaust is pushing it so i dont think port work is in the cards, plus i dont have the budget.

but I would suggest getting a pipe first then later on cams, air filter, big bore, all the engine work.

Ye Pipes-air filter, then jet it for that setup and that'll give allotta more power
