Since my last post I have ha some Maxxis Razr 2's installed on the front of my 2001 trx 400ex. My question is I got them back from the shop and the tires seem overinflated, what pressure do you guys run them at, for those that have these tires?

All advice appreciated in advance:D

No air!!! What?!! I usually run 4.5 to 6 pounds all the way around, depending on the conditions.

depends on what i'm doing and how conditions are. Drag racing on asphalt I run 10PSI in the front and the rear. In rear soft sand 6PSI front and 5PSI rear. if i'm jumping 7PSI all around, i guage it all on the conditions. Some days there arent any jumps to hit and some days thats all i'm doing is finding jumps building them better o something and i just keep hitting them trying new things. I bent up my front wheels pretty bad running a low PSI jumping. They are getting D shaped or oval from the low tire pressure thats why i put in more when i jump now. Keep in mind i'm in the sand so its not as harsh there is some give to the land.

I think Im about the only one that likes a tad bit more psi in the rear than the front. Thats okay, it works for me, helps me slide around trees easier. As long as the front sticks and the back slides on command im happy.

on the fronts I run 3-5 but on the back I have hyper double beadlocks and I can run them with little or no air, we ride in coal and dirt, they are the best tires I have ever had, except the dudes behind me hate them becasue they hook up so good that they blow rocks in their face

i run 3 all around on mine, michaelj is right though, you dont have to run any air in them because they are a hard tire. thats if your just riding around and not doing any type of stunts.
