Howie told me him and Eric were riding alone all trip?? How did their Rapturds do with radials in Coral pink?? The last trip there we took the radials off within 1/2 hour because the big hills were impossible with them!

Howie and Eric were riding together in the being of the week. We were camping and moving town to town. Our quads were pack for everything. They stay in Marysvalle only. The first night they showed up at camp at 2am and woke up everyone, the next morning we were laughing about it. "BROOKLYN IS IN THE HOUSE". We got together in Coral Pink and Mike and I were dead after riding 5 days straight. We did over 500 miles in those 5 days. Howie loves to ride at night as you know and we weren't in to that at the time. Mike just had the acl in his knee fixed 2 months ago, so we were both out of shape, we haven't ridden in months.

Sat night we we got in he had too change his carrier because the old one was shot...

Oh ya Howie went out and bought another 700 because it wasn't shifting right.......

Mike and I were the only two that had paddles, Howie, Eric and Shawn were getting around ok with their tires... The funny thing Mike were get stuck more than they were....

O.K. we will be at Pad 2 on Gecko rd. Look for 2 16' Budget trucks and a 40' Weekend Warrior on 10/24 Friday. On Sunday the 26th 6 more 28' Weekend Warriors show up. On the 29th 5 more campers and Motorhomes arrive. Who is ready to kick off the Duning Season!!!!! We all leave on 11/3.

Hell yea can't wait!!! Actually just went this weekend for the 1st time ever and gee im hoping ive got more balls by Halloween cuz i rode like a lil ***** HAHA for some reason I was so damn nervous and scared to get on it, i dunno what my problem was!! O well hopefully ill grow some by then!

After picking my bike up from Kenz, with the new head installed, I had to get some gas. Cycle gear was out, but I picked up a couple of new cans with the push down nozzles. . . NICE! Went all the way to LOVES on the 202/10 for some race gas, and hurried home to load the trailer with my buddy. Ended up taking off from LAVEEN around 930 and got to the dunes at 130. Crashed out, and of course was awoken by the bitter sweet sound of HP in the morning! Got a ride to the hill in through the short dunes, as we camp at wash 2. Was breaking in the new piston/head setup, so taking it pretty easy. Bike was running good, but Ken told me there's a spot in the RPMs where it's missing. So, sure enough, as I'm in 3rd and trying to go up a dune, it bogs down and I have to down shift. What a pain that was to get used to. After a couple more rides for the day, ended up partying at the hill Friday night, and woke up Saturday to people dicking around and didnt get on a ride til around 10. Couple of rides throughout the day, including one to boardmanville, and one to the drags. Then out to the hill at night. Was talking smack to my buddy w/ and LTR450, and of course we had to race. Well, our tires got a little too friendly, and I rode up over his bike and was catapulted off of mine. SMACK!! Right on my head and shoulder. I was fine, but the bike popped the rear right bead of the hauler, and the front left tie rod end snapped on my burgard a arm. So, rolled it down the hill, loaded it onto a rhino, and hauled her back to camp. No more riding for me, and what a shame, cause Sunday brought a cooker from the old timers. Next ride, winning isn't everything. . . watch out for veering competitors!! Should be heading out either the weekend of Nov.7th, or the 14th to Gordon's next! Hopefully the bike will have a new cam in it and have the bogging problem solved.
