400 keeps dieing

occasionally when i let off the throttle while riding and pull in the clutch my quad wants to just die. I dont get it, it starts right back up and runs fine. Whats wrong?

This ALWAYS happens to me when my spark plug starts going bad.

Pull the plug and see if it's all fouled up. When I change it it runs like a champ.

Also, if that doesn't work, try adjusting your idle screw.

As a matter of fact, mine just started doing this again recently. Time for a new plug:grr:

mine did that at the dunes and i just kept riding it and aventualy the spark plug poped out haha so try tighting your spark plug

yeah how old is the plug?

how much do you ride?

Yeah the plugs like a couple months old but i have been having issues with it being too rich so, that could have fouled the plug.
