450r rear end

hey i was wondering if i could put a 450 rear end on my 300? i have seen pics of other people do it but i would like to know what i need to do it???

weld a linkage mount to the frame, put the swinger and linkage on, then you need a 250r shock im pretty sure and your set. rear end will be stiff though.

to do it right you need everything from a 450r rear end. Axle, carrier, brake caliper, 300 hubs will work on the 450 axle. Like he said, you must weld the linkage to the frame, and use a 250r rear shock, but it will be a little stiff. I have a 250R rear shock that is already ground down to fit if your interested. Other wise the quad I did it on is for sale on ebay, and there are some good pics of the linkage there.

yes u need a 450r swingarm

u need 450r or 88/89 250r swing arm, you need the matching linkage to either swing arm, you need the carrier, axle breakstay all that stuff from what ever swing arm you decide on, u need a 250r rear shock and 250r hubs if u decide to go with the 250r rear end.
