Pro Taper bar, diameter?

Wich is the diameter of a Pro Taper bar?

Contour or Evo, doesn't matter.

I suppose it is 28 mm but i can't find it.

Those bars are a "tapered" bar. The diameter is 1 1/8 inches where the clamp mounts and tapers down to a standard 7/8 of an inch at the ends where all your controls mount.

I would definitely get a "tapered" bar....the contour and EVO bars are in this category. Pick your favorite bend and you can't go wrong.

The SE bar is a standard 7/8 inches diameter all the way across and just doesn't have the strength or flex that the 1 1/8 bars do.

Keep in mind that your clamp must accomodate the size bar you run - standard clamp for 7/8th or oversized for 1 1/8th.

I run the SE Pro Taper and love them.

Yep, i know about the clamps, and they are not cheap.

I think i will definitly get a Contour one.
