I have a 1994 s-10 4 door 4x4 automatic blazer with a 4.3 L
I used to get 15-16 miles per gallon every tank of fuel, with over half highway miles. Since the gas prices have gone up I have moved to Indianapolis and drive 90% city but I started coasting and taking off slower and am now averaging 18-18.5 mpg per tank.
I am amazed that just taking off slower and being a little lighter on the throttle can make such an improvement with all city stop n go driving.
Give it a try you may save yourself some money.
