I got a chance to do two harescrambles with the hls suspension. It was a double header (night race/day race). Needless to say I raced both races sitting down even in the rough stuff. Gtthunder really knows what there doing and I am glad I got a chance to race with them. I would recommend these shocks to anyone that races motocross or xc. I would take these over my elkas any day. The shocks were the standard ones two with no ressiviors. I would also like to thank Dan Whipper for giving me a chance to ride these. Good luck with your shocks.

Glad to know they are worth it. I ran into a few problems tonight mounting mine. I'll post some pics.

Upper Shock mount. probably be sticking a washer in there to take up the gap.

Lower shock mount. There are the seal cover that came on the. With stock ones they are fine. Not sure why they came w/ ones that dont fit.

I got off the phone w/ Laz about an hour ago. He looked at my pic and realized what he had done. He's sending me the correct parts 2day. I would have like an overnight delivery so I could ride this weekend but im off monday and tuesday also.

compare the length of those from eye to eye to the stock shocks.

Those things look way to short??:eek2:

What did you pay?

measure the eye to eye length of those shocks, and try adjusting your ride height...

if its still screwed after that, your shocks are def too short...

I sent Laz the same pics i posted. He said to call him 1st thing Monday morning. He said "I se what the problem is" in his email. I paid $895 for the set. I had to fillout a form in this link below. Im running GT Thunder a-arms, linkage and rebuilt stock shocks by GT THunder. I figured GT building my HLS would be a breeze. He didnt specify what the problem he saw was but as long as they get me fixed up right ill be happy.

My review so far on these shocks are:
Compress and Rebound better than Elka's even though they are to short. Customer service has been great. I just think my order may have gotten swapped w/ someone elses.

The HLS are about 16.5" eye to eye. What quad runs shocks that length?

thats std travel for a honda 250r or 450r... the LTR stock shocks are longer than that..
