250x/350x Hybrid...

Just helped my neighbor build one... but it wont start... he doesnt have the 350x cdi on it why is that needed so bad? Could this be a reason why it wont start?

He needs to use a 250x or 350x cdi. But i would check all the grounds and run a ground wire from the frame to the motor to insure the motor is grounded

you will have less problems if you use a 350x cdi. the 250x harness and cdi are wired to have reverse. 250x wiring harness will work, I have the powroll book that shows the changes you have to make to use the 250x harness with 350x cdi.
