I just got a Diamond plate toolbox for my truck today for $20 and it is dirty looking. I have some Mothers mag and aluminum polish and did a little spot and it looks great but takes FOREVER!

Is there an easier way to polish it?
I was thinking maybe a mothers powerball? But can you clean them after they get dirty?

a polishing wheel like these

Something like that works well and just drag a flat head screwdriver on it to give it a semi cleaning. powerball wont be to great for a big flat service. all though you can use it.

if you can, get a buffing compound like for cars, and then get a orbital buffer, and buff it, and it will look great.

as simple of a shape as that is, I'd imagine that doing it bay and will be as effective as anything. The diamond plate is not super effective any other way.
