Roost Boost

I recently picked up an 87 lt250r, it has a roost boost on it and i was just wondering what exactly it does, Hotter Spark? thats what i was told, just confirming it

thats what it suppose to do, but it really doesn't do much , if anything:ermm:

You don't notice a difference when puttering around. It smooths out the higher RPM's allowing it to pull a few more RPM's with less breakup on top. I"ve got one on my 87 and it came in handy during the flat track & TT days when WFO was needed.
